Loom Gabbeh rugs are hand crafted in Bhadohi, a small town in India. The new knotting technique creates the so-called Loom knot, which shortens the work and creates inexpensive yet excellent rugs in Gabbeh design. Characteristic for Loom Gabbeh are the frequently used allover design and the uniform colour scheme.
Gabbeh rugs are valuable pieces of genuine Persian quality work. In order to be able to offer comparable carpets cheaper, the Loom Gabbeh is produced and offered in our online shop. It differs from the original in its knot technique. The Loom knot is quick to craft. These are modern looking, coarse carpets for various application possibilities.
